– Jay Anderson, a nationally recognized traffic safety professional is the Executive Director of Stay Alive …. Just Drive! Jay is a Commercial Driving School Instructor, Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Instructor, National Traffic Incident Management Responder Trainer, CarFit Event Coordinator an instructor for the Lee Memorial Trauma Services Young Driver Program, the court ordered High Risk Driver Course and the Lee County Sheriff’s Youth Activity League Teen Driver Challenge.



– Colleen Via works for Lee County Parks and Recreation as a Sr. Supervisor and manages facilities in North Fort Myers and Boca Grande. She has been employed by the Lee County Parks and Recreation since 1996 in various positions and facilities. She has been a board member of the Sheriff Youth Activities League since 2008. Colleen holds a BS in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University.


    • Director – Kim Samuelson, Golisano Children’s Hospital

– Kim Samuelson, a KidCare Supervisor for the Lee Memorial Health System has been able to assist uninsured families in applying for Medicaid and Florida KidCare for Golisano Children’s Hospital. Kim has also had over thirteen years of experience teaching and motivation children at a local private christian school. Even has ten years of experience in  production management, hospital/restaurant sales and customer relations for a nationally known linen company. Plus has spent five years working with all aspects in running a small construction business.
